４がつに なりました。「桜(さくら)」が きれいに さいています。小学校(しょうがっこう)に はいった しん１ねんせい“おめでとう！”。あたらしい せいかつが はじまります。こどもが がっこうに いく みちでは、くるまが たくさんとおる ところや でんしゃが とおる ふみきりが ありますか？ まだ、みちに なれていない こどもがいます。こどもが あるくところを いっしょに いき、きけんな(あぶないばしょ)ところ や ちゅういするところを おしえてください。また、あめが ふるひは 「かさ」を さしているので まわりが みえにくいです。おとなも きをつけて くるまを「うんてん」してください。じこが おこらないように みんなで こどもを まもりたいです。
How are you enjoying the month of April? Cherry blossoms congratulate children entering elementary schools and starting a new life. We adults watch them with loving attention. Do they walk along busy streets with lots of cars when they walk to school? Do they have to cross railway crossings? There are children who aren’t used to walking along busy roads with lots of cars and other obstacles. If you have time, please walk along with them and help them pay careful attention to dangers. On rainy days, especially, they cannot see beyond their umbrellas. If you drive on rainy days, please pay extra attention to those children with umbrellas. Let’s protect children from accidents.
