４がつ２７にち どようび から ５がつ６にち げつようび まで、がっこう、くやくしょ・しやくしょ、かいしゃ、などが 10にちかん やすみに なります。この ながい やすみ は、ことし ２０１９ねん だけ です。ぎんこうも やすみです。 ATM は つかえます。いつも いく びょういんが ある ひと、いつも のんでいる くすり が あるひとは、やすみのまえに びょういんに いくと いいです。ごみを だす ようびは いつもと おなじ です。
The Golden Week this year has 10 consecutive national holidays from April 27 through May 6. That means all schools, public offices, such as city / ward offices, and most companies will be closed. Banks also will be closed (but ATMs will be available). Hospitals and clinics will be closed. If you are on prescribed medicines, we advise you to go see your regular doctor before the Golden Week. Garbage will be collected as usual, though. Hope you won’t have any trouble during the holidays and enjoy the time with your family and friends.
