新年（しんねん）あけましておめでとうございます。
さむい まいにちが つづいています。くうきが かわいて、かぜが つよいと すいどうかんが こわれて、「水（みず）」が もれて みずが つかえなくなります。そとの すいどうかんが つめたくなりすぎないように（なかの みずが こおるので）しらべておきましょう。じめんも こおることが あるので、あるくときも ころばないように きをつけましょう。なんかいも そとに でなくて すむように、いつもより おおく たべものを かっておくと あんしんです。
ことしが よい１ねん でありますように。AWEPを よろしく おねがいします。
A Happy New Year, everyone! Today, we’d like to give you a disaster prevention tip in the coldest time of the year.
When the air is dry and the wind is strong, water pipes may freeze and break, leaking water and making it impossible to use the water.
Check the water pipes outside and make sure they are not too cold (as the water inside may freeze).
The ground can also freeze, so be careful not to fall when walking outside.
It’s a good idea to buy more food than usual when you go shopping, so you don’t have to go out many times.
