英語の番組「ＳＯＵＮＤ　ＷＡＶＥＳ」にも新人登場！
英語の番組は、毎週土曜日２０時から２１時まで、いろんな英語の国の人々が担当されています。
２月１６日初登場は、アレック・ラメイさん。日本人の珍しい（世界にもまれだそうです）宗教観を展開されます。

In this segment I give a brief introduction of myself beginning with my childhood in Michigan, U.S.A, to my repeated travel to Japan including Aichi and Shiga Prefectures.
I then provide a simple sketch of religion in Japan. This includes how the religious climate in Japan with the amalgamation between Shinto and Buddhism (神仏習合) makes Japan different to the West where religion is considered to be separated by doctrine and organization.
I will return to this simple historical outline over the next few months as I talk about various times of history including the Tokugawa era, the Meiji era and the contemporary Heisei era.
Furthermore, I will also talk more in subsequent broadcasts about my areas of interest such as hogaku (邦楽) and religion in the contemporary United States.

　本放送において、自己紹介として、アメリカのミシガン州で生まれたこと、愛知県及び滋賀県での滞在に関することを取り上ました。
さらに、自身が研究していることとして日本における宗教に関する概要を簡単に取り上げました。
例えば、神道と仏教の統一という「神仏習合」の影響によって、日本の宗教は教義的および組織的に分離されているアメリカの宗教とは根本的に異なっていると言うことができます。江戸、明治、そして現代の平成の時代にわたる日本の宗教の考察をするためにこの概要が参考となります。
今後、日本における歴史以外に、邦楽とアメリカにおける宗教という観点にも注目したいと思います。
