「KOBE Bridging JAPAN & AFEICA through ICT」

On the first and second Saturdays (3rd and 10th February) from 4pm to 4:30 in Japanese and from 4:30 to 5pm in English, KIC students from Africa share their stories about what has surprised them once in Kobe, Japan, what they have found out through their life there, and other things they found intriguing and mind-blowing in Kobe or in Japan in general.This time, we will introduce about ‘Gacaca’, one of the mechanisms to stand up from the massacre of Rwanda.

Also, we talk about the research on constructing “Rwanda’s product and promotion system to encourage purchase of agricultural products”, and the research on ”a system for finding diseases of dates early so as not to reduce crop yield”

2月3日の第1週土曜日と10日の第2土曜日の4時~4時半日本語で、4時半から5時は英語で、神戸情報大学院大学のアフリカからの学生たちが、日本・神戸に住んでみて気づいたことやアフリカの自分の国のことを紹介しています。
私たちにが普段気づかないことに気づかせてもらえます。
今回は、ルワンダの大虐殺から立ち上がる際の仕組みの一つ「ガチャチャ」についても紹介をしてもらいます。 そして、ICT（情報技術）を活用して「社会の課題を解決する仕組みつくり」の勉強をしていることのお話しも。
また、大学院で取組んでいるテーマ「ルワンダの製品や農産物の購入を促すプロモーションシステムの構築」や、「収穫量を減らさないため、ナツメヤシなどの病気を早期に見つけるシステムの構築」の研究のことを話されています。

今月のアフリカからの留学生は、写真の左の方がルワンダ共和國からのギーさん（KANDEKWE, Guy）、そして右の方がアルジェリア民主人民共和国からのハジャさん（HAMAIDI, Hadjer）です。
パーソナリティは、神戸情報大学院大学の船山・プロジェクトマネージャー（左側：アフリカなどの国々でNGO活動等に参加）とセンダ先生（右側：コンゴ出身　大阪大学大学院を卒業、建築家）です

今回も地域の食堂でアフリカから来た学生との交流のひと時を持ちました。日本に来て1年半、でもチャーハンも餃子も食べたことがなかったそうです。

On the first and second Saturdays (6th and 7th January) from 4pm to 4:30 in Japanese and from 4:30 to 5pm in English, KIC students from Africa share their stories about what has surprised them once in Kobe, Japan, what they have found out through their life there, and other things they found intriguing and mind-blowing in Kobe or in Japan in general.

This time we tried talking with them about the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake on January 17th.

Also, we talk about the research on constructing a system for providing childcare knowledge to women who have children using smartphones, and the research on building hospital information and reservation mechanism by ICT.

今回は、1月17日の阪神淡路大震災のことについて彼らと話をしてみました。そして、ICT（情報技術）を活用して「社会の課題を解決する仕組みつくり」の勉強をしていることのお話しも。
また、大学院で取組んでいるスマートフォンなどを使った子供のいる女性への育児知識提供の仕組みの構築や、ICTによる病院の情報提供や予約の仕組みの構築の研究のことを話されています。
今月のアフリカからの留学生は、右の方がルワンダ共和國からのエラステさん（RURANGWA, Eraste）、そして左の方がマリ共和国からのシマさん（SIMA Souraki）です。

本日の長田区ソウルフードは韓国料理！多様性のあるまち「長田」です！

FMわぃわぃのある地域の人々とアフリカからの留学生との食事の席での交流もこの番組の重要な目的です。

In our December program, our guest students from KIC are Mr. DUKUZUMUREMYI, Dieudonne（on the right of the photo） from the Republic of Rwanda and Mr. KAPIYE, Tomas Tangeni (on the left of the photo) from Republic of Namibia.
Today’s students experienced in Japan for a year and two month. They have talked about how to utilize ICT for the natural disaster areas and about IoT compliance of biomass electric power plant. The students also introduce their projects to solve social issues in their home countries through ICT (Information and Communication Technology) that they have been working on at KIC as part of their Master’s course.
