アジア女性自立プロジェクトが受け入れているインターン生ニイニイさんの紹介をします。

ニィニィさんは2023年7月末から9月の約2ヶ月間、AWEPで受け入れている台湾人大学生のインターンです。
女性のエンパワメントとビジネス、フェアトレードについて関心があるので、AWEPでインターンをしたいというメールを3月に受け取りました。
当初は小規模な団体で専従スタッフもいないため、海外からの受け入れは難しいかも知れないと考えていましたが、面談で彼女の強い熱意を感じ、
受け入れることになりました。フェアトレード事業のみならず、国内外国人女性支援事業にも積極的に関わってくれ、私たちに大きな刺激を与えてくれています。

This month AWEP program, we would like to introduce NiNi-san, an intern who was accepted for the Asian Women’s Empowerment Project.

She is an intern at AWEP, who is a Taiwanese university student, from the end of July to approximately two months in September 2023. In March, she sent us an email, in which expressed her interest in women’s empowerment, business, and fair trade. At first, we hesitated to accept an intern from abroad. Because AWEP is a small organization and there is no full-time staff to attend her . However, during the interview, we were deeply impressed by her strong passion, leading us to welcome her as an intern. Nini actively engages not only in fair trade projects but also in initiatives supporting women and she has been a great source of inspiration for our team.
