12月24日のEVEのナイジェリアからの放送には、新進気鋭若干24歳のラジオパーソナリティCaleb Essangさんの出演です。
彼は、ナイジェリアのラジオ/テレビのホスト、
カラバー大学でコンピュータサイエンスを学び、TV /ラジオのホストとしてCross-River Broadcasting Corporationに勤務しました。2009年から2015
有名人とのオンエアで円滑なやりとりから彼のショーは幸いなこと
メディアへの情熱と地域社会の家族や隣人からの励ましによって、

Caleb Essang is a Nigerian radio/television host, writer, public/motivational speaker and a media/communications specialist. He studied Computer science in the University of Calabar, and proceeded to work in Cross-river Broadcasting Corporation as a TV/radio host. He has hosted the nationally syndicated radio game show, The Lunch hour Show (sponsored by Rock House Media), since 2009-2015, and has gained a little popularity as a male host on day time radio in Calabar.
He became noticed for his on-air smooth interactions with celebrities. His show has been luckily nominated (The biggest being BBC nomination) and has won several little awards. He has hosted several all-out campaigns for multi-nationals in Nigeria, including segments for British council, Mtn Nigeria, Black berry, Panadol extra, and Etisalat.
Stirred by his passion for the media and with encouragement from family and neighbors in the community, he moved to Lagos to further brighten his less witted skills. He was privileged to briefly secure a spot with a popular radio station (cool fm) for about a year, developing nation-wide contents and serving as a part time voice over artist.
According to Caleb, he says that working with the SWACIA FMYY collaboration radio team has added value and exposure to his life as an on-air personality. And he hopes to invest his time and energy in learning from the FMYY Radio team, and at the same time use his little knowledge in the media and communications field to assist in expanding the network of listeners/audience across Africa and the rest of the world.

そこからみんなの話は、文字の持つ力、音の持つ力、映像の持つ力、そして情報の溢れる現代において、それを読み解く力についてと流れていきました。「情報を読み解く力」それはやはり、2011年3月11日の東日本大震災が大きな転機、きっかけであることを、それぞれの立場からの話の中で見えてきました。
そして番組後半は、世界の各地から伝えられる難民問題、そこに何とも知れない不安感が生まれる最近の世情を考えるトークとなりました。その怖れは、「難民問題」は自分とは関係のない「遠い哀しみ」として距離を置くことでその怖れから回避しようとする心の動きであることを明確にし、「自分とは、そして自分の地域とは関係のないもの」として見ようとしない、あるいは自分の領域を守り、他者の排除・排斥の世界の動きと呼応していることを解説されました。
